Microbe-Lift Mosquito Control 6 oz (MPN BMC6)
Kills developing mosquitoes before they become breeding, biting adults, including those that may transmit West Nile Virus, Equine Encephalitis, and Heart Worm Disease in dogs and cats. This mosquito control is specially formulated for decorative water gardens, fountains, and areas where standing water exists. It is a liquid product called Microbe-Lift BMC, which does not affect the aesthetics of ponds and water features. It can be applied to areas with aquatic life, fish, and plants, as well as areas used by or in contact with humans, animals, horses, livestock, pets, birds, or wildlife. It has a shelf life of 3 years at 72°F.
The liquid mosquito control has up to 14 days of activity, depending on the application site. It disperses easily in water and has no toxicity to fish or non-target invertebrates. It also has a significantly lower potential for the development of resistance in target insects compared to chemical larvicides like methoprene. Additionally, it does not negatively impact the aesthetics of the pond and leaves no organic or inorganic residues. The recommended dosage is 2.5 mL per 1,000 gallons of water.
