Aquascape Downspout Filter (MPN 30166)

This rainwater filter is designed to be installed and concealed at the bottom of the downspout. Its purpose is to capture and eliminate various pollutants and debris that may be washed out during heavy rainfall. The filter utilizes a two-stage mechanical filtration system to effectively remove unwanted materials from the rainwater. In the first stage, a grated lid and layer of gravel are responsible for the removal of larger debris such as leaves and twigs. The second stage employs a 300-micron net that effectively captures finer particulate, including sediment made up of roofing material, dust, and other debris. Once the rainwater passes through these filters, it can be discharged into a rainwater harvesting system. The filter is constructed with durable, rotationally molded materials to ensure its longevity. It also features a molded hose tail that can accommodate either 3" or 4" corrugated drain pipe for easy installation.
